二、英文作文（占20分）

說明︰1.依提示在「答案卷」上寫一篇英文作文。　　　

      2.文長至少120個單詞（words）。

提示︰你最好的朋友最近迷上電玩，因此常常熬夜，疏忽課業，並受到父母的責罵。你（英文名字必須假設為Jack或Jill）打算寫一封信給他/她（英文名字必須假設為Ken或Barbie），適當地給予勸告。

請注意：必須使用上述的Jack或Jill在信末署名，不得使用自己的真實中文或英文名字

 

Dear Ken,

          How have you been recently? I heard from your mother you have been spending much time on video games and have stayed up late for months, neglecting your schoolwork. I am sorry to know about that. Since you are one of my best friends, I would like to share something with you.

I understand that we, the third graders, are under great pressure, and there is no denying that playing computer games is fun and helps us get rid of stress sometimes. Yet, we should manage(=use) our time properly, for the entrance exam is around the corner (=approaching). Furthermore,the exam would influence us for lifetime, so doing our best to get a good grade and entering an ideal college for my future career should be our first priority we should take now.

On the other hand, staying up late for the video games is bad for our health, so we had better keep good hours so that we could have a clear mind for studying. On the other hand, your eyesight might get worse due to staring at the computer screen for a long time, especially at night time.   

The atmosphere in your family seems to get tense these days because you spend lots of time on computers, not on the study; therefore, you often argue with your parents over this matter. I suggest that you take your parents words and communicate properly with them. Do not make them sad and worried about you. As one of your best friends, you are welcomed to talk to me at any time if there is a need.
