            It was a beautiful day with clouds in the blue sky. Mary and her mother happily walked on such a beautiful day. When they passed by the department store, there were a crowd of people in front of the store, waiting for the door to be opened. Because that day was a special day--an anniversary sale, there were many people waiting in lines. Mary and her mother decided to join the lines instead of taking a walk.

          The store did not open until one hour later. No sooner had the gate been opened than people rushed into it. The guard reminded everyone to watch their step. No one payed attention to the warning. They just immediately swarmed to the counter they wanted. The store was full of people with a big loud noise. All the clerks did their best to promote their products to the potential customers. It was the only chance to boost their annual revenue. And customers were also eager for getting luxurious stuff with a good deal.   Mary and her mom were surged over to the section of clothing. Mary and her mom  could not help but browse clothes there. Luckily, both of them found what they needed. Mom bought a dress for her colleague’s wedding next month and Mary got a dress for her good friend’s birthday party. Mary and Mom thought they were lucky enough to pay a lower price for higher quality attire on such a beautiful sunny day.
